Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Art by Mel. As we strive to deliver high-quality, original artworks, we want to ensure your satisfaction with every piece. Please review our refund and returns policy carefully.

General Policy
All sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Due to the unique and original nature of artworks, refunds are only provided under specific circumstances outlined below.

Damaged Items
We take great care to package your artwork securely. However, if your item arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 7 days of receiving the artwork by emailing info@artbymel.com.au.
  • Include your order details and clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.
  • Upon verification of the damage, we will offer one of the following resolutions:
    • A replacement artwork (if available).
    • A refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping fees).

Lost Shipments
If your order is lost during transit:

  • Please contact us at info@artbymel.com.au with your order details.
  • Once the courier confirms the shipment is lost, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Custom Artwork Orders
Deposits for custom artwork commissions are non-refundable. If the completed custom artwork is damaged in transit, we will work with you to find an appropriate solution, such as a replacement or repair.

Non-Returnable Items
Gift cards and digital downloads (if offered) are non-returnable and non-refundable. Any item not in its original condition or damaged due to improper handling by the customer is not eligible for a refund or replacement.

Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of confirmation. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
